Virtual Reality's Effect on Both Sexes

There is no shortage of discourse recently over the lack of women in the gaming industry.  With such a growing modern world distinctly lacking women, it has spilled over into the recent creations of virtual reality devices.  The Oculus Rift and 3D cave technologies have been found to have disorienting and nausea-inducing effects on women testers.  It must be said that the design is not intentionally sexist- in fact, it has a lot to do with the idea that IT has, mostly, been designed and tested by men.  The reason is this- women and men view light changes differently, in ways which are not accounted for in VR devices as of yet.  Men often view movement based on a change in size, while women view movement based on light reflections.  This is not always the case, nor is it scientific law, but it is something to take into account as VR and all information technology moves forward.
